Our Virgin Coconut Oil is cold-pressed, and rich in essential fatty acids, antioxidants, vitamin E, vitamin K, and vitamin C. Butuan Coconut Product’s Vital Virgin Coconut Oil is cold-pressed, ensuring all vital nutrients and natural goodness of fresh coconuts are retained for optimal use.
The cold-press method is critical in maintaining the healthy compounds of pure virgin coconut oil, such as essential fatty acids, antioxidants, vitamin E, vitamin K, and vitamin C.
Our Vital Virgin Coconut Oil has immune-boosting acids, which holds anti-bacterial, antiviral, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties. It raises levels of good cholesterol, which promotes healthy diet and enhances endurance and athletic performance.
We use certified PET bottles for 250ml and 150ml containers packaged in a corrugated carton. We use barrel containers on orders by ton. We sell most of these products by consignment at pharmacies, Go Negosyo Centers, OTOP outlets, convenience stores, and by word of mouth from friends. With our approved FDA we are open to supply foreign countries who have a need of our product.

Is the saturated fat in VCO not bad for the health?
Scientific studies have shown that cold-pressed virgin coconut oil’s medium-chain saturated fat does not raise the levels of bad cholesterol on the blood. Quite the opposite, in fact: they do raise levels of good cholesterol. These positive health benefit mean that cold-pressed virgin coconut oil is part of a healthy diet.

In 2022, our production of FDA-approved Vital Virgin Coconut Oil amounted to 3,400 litres.
Over the last three years, we have grown our production by 3000x in order to serve our customers and community more.
Our Story
Twelve years ago, our parents began producing cold-pressed virgin coconut oil. A processing plant was built and passed BFAD approval; a worker was trained in Luzon, and equipment were purchased in preparation for the tons of virgin coconut oil that were produced.
Unbeknownst to the company, the Philippine government at the time was facing challenges exporting virgin coconut oil. Tons of cold-pressed virgin coconut oil were stored, and as time passed, no solution for exporting was made.
Where We Are Today
In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and we began production of virgin coconut oil to help COVID patients. This restored our determination to continue what our parents had started. As the pandemic subsided and domestic demand leveled off, the company shifted focus to international markets.
We acquired U.S. FDA certification and began actively participating in DTI-sponsored export seminars and international trade fairs. Our target markets include the United States, European Union, Middle East, China, Asia-Pacific, and Australia/New Zealand.

Our partners are our marketing associations, cold-pressed VCO producers and cooperatives, government entities like the Department of Trade and Industry, Food Innovation Center, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Agriculture, Department of Plant Industry, Bureau of Customs, and international entities like the International Trade Centre, European Union Countries, and ARISE PLUS.
We aim to support our community, including those living in Butuan City, Agusan del Norte, and the other provinces and cities in the Caraga Region.
